Topic outline:

This month’s session will be led by Ramachandran (APR) Pillai who will be doing a deep dive into the use of class modules to streamline module code.

Over the past few months, Ramachandran has published a series of 15 articles on Reusing Form and Report Module VBA Code for New Projects.
He will cover much of this material in his presentation for Access Europe
During the course of this session, you will learn how to make effective use of class modules to streamline form and report event code.

You may find it helpful to study some of the articles in this series beforehand starting with Streamlining Form Module Event Procedures - Part One

The latest article, Streamlined Custom Made Form Wizard, was published in October and includes links to all the earlier articles in this series.

Bio:


Ramachandran has been an Access developer for over 25 years. He is based in Kerala, India and in fluent in English, Hindi and Malayalam.
Ramachandran worked as an Access / Excel developer for a large automotive company in Oman from 1996 - 2010.
He is proficient in using all Office programs and in numerous computer languages in addition to VBA, HTML and web publishing.

Ramachandran has been publishing Access articles almost every week from September 2006 onwards, on his MS-Access Tips and Tricks website where he also provides free demo database downloads for the benefit of MS-Access learners and developers.

Due to technical issues, our presenter lost internet connection about half way through the session.
We re-recorded the second half a few days later and included questions & answers both from the session chat and later discussion.
